| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara, rendered in high relief against a mirrored proof field. This is the fourth definitive portrait of the Queen, sculpted by Ian Rank-Broadley, whose initials 'IRB' appear in small incuse lettering below the truncation of the neck. The legend 'ELIZABETH II · AUSTRALIA' arcs around the upper periphery, while '2008' descends along the right and '· 200 DOLLARS ·' is inscribed along the lower rim, all separated by raised dot stops. |
