| Obverse description | The obverse presents a right-truncated, uncrowned effigy of King Charles III facing left, rendered in high relief with fine portrait detail befitting a proof issue. The legend CHARLES III is inscribed along the left arc of the field, while D·G·REX appears along the upper right arc, together forming the abbreviated Latin title affirming his divine appointment as King.
