| 正面描述 | Central vignette comprises a portrait of the celebrated Serbian painter Nadežda Petrović (1873–1915), accompanied by a sculptural rendering of the artist and a silhouette of the Gračanica Monastery in the background. A painter's brush appears as a compositional motif reinforcing the subject's artistic identity. Bilingual inscriptions in Cyrillic and Latin script identify the issuing authority and denomination, with anti-counterfeiting notices running along the lower portion of the note. |

The 2005 200 Dinar note arrived during a transitional moment for Serbian state printing — ZIN had spent much of the 1990s producing hyperinflationary emergency issues in enormous quantities, and this relatively stable denomination marked a return to considered production standards. The "1st coat of arms" designation distinguishes it from a later restyled version, the change driven by constitutional revisions following Montenegro's 2006 independence, which formally altered the state arms used on official documents and currency alike.
