| Opmerkingen |
The Sociedade Numismática Paranaense, a collectors' club based in Paraná state, issued this piece as a commemorative fantasy note — not legal tender, never intended for circulation. The SNP has produced similar items around anniversaries and collector events, aimed squarely at the Brazilian numismatic community rather than any monetary function.
2022 marked exactly two centuries since Dom Pedro I declared Brazilian independence from Portugal on the banks of the Ipiranga river in September 1822. Fagner Maximo da Silveira handled the design work.
