Obverse description Uniformed bust of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) in left-facing profile, depicted wearing spectacles and a suit with tie, rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field. The effigy occupies the central portion of the coin with fine portrait detail including hair texture and facial features. Thai script legend reading 'รัชกาลที่ ๙' (Rama IX) appears to the left of the effigy, with 'ประเทศไทย' (Thailand) to the right. The denomination '๒๐๐ บาท' (200 Baht) is inscribed along the lower portion of the field in Thai numerals and script.
