| Reverse description | A pair of Siamese Fireback pheasants (Lophura diardi) depicted in naturalistic style within a laurel wreath open at the top: the larger male stands prominently facing left with tail feathers raised, while the smaller female stands behind him to the right, both set amid foliage and ground cover. The circular legend around the upper field reads WWF 25TH ANNIVERSARY, and the lower field bears the denomination and issuing country: 200 BAHT 1987 THAILAND, with dot separators flanking the legend. |

| Additional information |
Issued to mark the 26th anniversary of the WWF's founding, this coin was part of a coordinated multinational series in which participating countries each highlighted an endangered local species. Thailand's selection reflected genuine conservation pressure at the time — deforestation and poaching had pushed several native species to critical status by the mid-1980s. The Royal Thai Mint produced commemorative silver in limited numbers for international collector markets rather than domestic circulation.
