| 背面描述 | A detailed architectural view of the facade of the Cathedral of Seville (Catedral de Sevilla) fills the central field, rendered with intricate relief work capturing the ornate Gothic and Mudéjar decorative elements of its exterior stonework, pinnacles, and statuary. Superimposed in large stylized lettering across the lower portion of the field is the legend EXPO 92. The inscription SEVILLA appears in the upper field above the cathedral facade. The word PRÓBA (Polish for trial or proof) is inscribed vertically along the left inner border, indicating the pattern status of this strike. |

Poland's 1992 Seville Expo participation came just three years after the fall of communism, and the commemorative program surrounding it was among the first to reflect the newly privatized Mennica Polska operating under market conditions rather than state directive. This trial strike — a próba in Polish numismatic terminology — was produced in nickel rather than the issued metal as part of the approval and die-testing process. Such próby from this transitional period were typically struck in very small numbers for internal review, occasionally finding their way into collector hands through official sales.
