| Obverse description | Olive-green notgeld note with a plain rectangular border enclosing a zigzag-pattern guilloche underprint across the entire field. The city seal of Fürth, a circular vignette bearing a four-leaf clover motif with the legend STADTGEMEINDE FÜRTH, appears in the upper-left and lower-left corners. The denomination M. 200,000 is set in large bold numerals at the top centre, below which the value in words Zweihundertausend Mark is rendered in a heavy blackletter typeface. The body text, also in blackletter, states the obligation of the Stadtkasse Fürth i/B. to pay the bearer, with the issue date 14. Aug. 1923 and the authority line Stadtrat, followed by three manuscript signatures along the lower portion of the note. |
