200 000 Karbovantsiv Mykhaylo Hrushevsky

Hrushevsky was the first president of the short-lived Ukrainian People's Republic, serving in 1918 before Soviet forces ended the experiment entirely. His rehabilitation in Ukrainian public memory was a deliberate act of post-independence nation-building — he had spent decades as a non-person under Soviet historiography.
