Beschrijving voorzijde Central field features the Polish crowned white eagle displayed, facing forward, with wings spread, rendered in a stylized national heraldic manner. Surrounding the eagle, arranged in a circular pattern, are the Roman numeral XXX and the dates 1944 and 1974, denoting the thirtieth anniversary of the Polish People's Republic. The circular legend POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA runs along the outer rim, separated by lozenge-shaped ornaments. The denomination ZŁ 20 ZŁ appears prominently at the lower portion of the field, flanking the base of the eagle motif.

Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse presents a stylized relief composition depicting four forward-facing busts in profile, representing figures from different branches of Polish society and the military, commemorating thirty years of the Polish People's Republic. A geometric architectural or constructivist element appears in the upper right field, evoking themes of industry and national progress. The inscription XXX LAT PRL is positioned to the upper right, while the word PRÓBA appears vertically along the left edge, identifying the piece as a trial strike. The dates 1944 and 1974 are inscribed in two lines in the lower central field, and the engraver's initials K W appear at the lower right. The overall design is bold and modernist in style, characteristic of Polish commemorative coinage of the period.
