| 背面描述 | The reverse presents a finely modeled bust of the celebrated Polish painter and graphic artist Leon Wyczółkowski facing slightly to the left, depicted wearing a wide-brimmed hat and pince-nez spectacles, with a goatee beard, in a style evoking a portrait of the artist in his working attire. In the lower left of the field, a painter's palette and brushes are rendered in relief, the palette bearing applied color enamel spots of red, yellow, blue, and green, representing the artist's medium. The legend 'LEON WYCZÓŁKOWSKI' is inscribed along the upper left edge of the field, while the dates '1852–1936' appear vertically along the right border, denoting the artist's birth and death years. |

Leon Wyczółkowski was one of the leading figures of Polish Symbolism and the Young Poland movement, and this issue is part of the NBP's long-running series honoring Polish painters. The series began in the 1990s and has become one of the more systematically ambitious collector programs issued by any European central bank — each coin tied to a specific artist rather than a period or school.
Wyczółkowski spent years in Ukraine painting the rural landscapes of Podolia, a body of work later complicated by the political geography of the 20th century. He died in Warsaw in 1936.
