| Obverse description | The Polish crowned eagle — the national emblem — is displayed prominently in the upper field, flanked by the circular legend 'RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA' and the date '2017'. Below the eagle, the denomination '20 ZŁ' appears to the right. The lower portion of the coin features a rectangular panel bearing bold raised text of the key phrase from the Warsaw Confederation of 1573: 'POKÓJ MIĘDZY ROZRÓŻNIONYMI W WIERZE ZACHOWAĆ', superimposed over microprinted text reproducing the full historical text of the Act of the Warsaw Confederation in the background field. A decorative band of stylized roses in low relief occupies the bottom of the design, adding an ornamental border to the composition. The overall design evokes a documentary aesthetic, referencing one of Europe's earliest acts of religious tolerance. |
