| Obverse description | The obverse of this rectangular proof silver piece is designed in the style of a banknote and replicates key design elements of the Polish 20 Złotych banknote issued in 2016. At upper left, the legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA and the year 2022 appear in the field, flanked by the Narodowy Bank Polski monogram. At center, a representation of a medieval denarius of Bolesław I Chrobry (the Brave) is depicted in high relief, showing a bird motif surrounded by an inscription. To the left, a stylized Romanesque rotunda building is rendered in the background, while to the right a heraldic eagle — the Polish state emblem — is shown alongside a decorative leonine figure. Along the lower register, the denomination 20 DWADZIEŚCIA ZŁOTYCH and the NBP logotype are inscribed. |

| Reverse description | The reverse faithfully reproduces the design of the circulating 20 Złotych banknote of 2016 in high-relief proof silver. At center, a large portrait effigy of Bolesław I Chrobry, the first King of Poland, is shown in right-facing profile, crowned and rendered with fine numismatic detail. To the left, the numeral 20 and the vertical legend DWADZIEŚCIA ZŁOTYCH appear alongside the Narodowy Bank Polski architectural vignette depicting arched stonework. The inscriptions WARSZAWA, the date 15 WRZEŚNIA 2016 r., and the facsimile signatures of the PREZES (President) and GŁÓWNY SKARBNIK (Chief Treasurer) are engraved in the field.
