| Reverse description | The reverse faithfully reproduces the design of the circulating 20 Złotych banknote of 2016 in high-relief proof silver. At center, a large portrait effigy of Bolesław I Chrobry, the first King of Poland, is shown in right-facing profile, crowned and rendered with fine numismatic detail. To the left, the numeral 20 and the vertical legend DWADZIEŚCIA ZŁOTYCH appear alongside the Narodowy Bank Polski architectural vignette depicting arched stonework. The inscriptions WARSZAWA, the date 15 WRZEŚNIA 2016 r., and the facsimile signatures of the PREZES (President) and GŁÓWNY SKARBNIK (Chief Treasurer) are engraved in the field. At right, decorative geometric and floral guilloche patterns characteristic of banknote security printing are reproduced in the exergue, with the denomination numeral 20 and the engraver's initials PK also present. |
