| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse features a stylised globe occupying the right half of the field, depicted as a segmented spherical grid overlaid with miniature national flags of United Nations member states, including the Union Jack and others rendered in low relief. The large bold acronym ONZ (Organizacja Narodów Zjednoczonych, the Polish name for the United Nations) dominates the centre of the field in large raised capital letters. Above, the commemorative legend 50 ROCZNICA POWSTANIA is inscribed in three lines to the upper left, and the founding and anniversary years 1945 and 1995 appear in two lines in the lower left field. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Poland joined the United Nations as a founding member in 1945, though the circumstances were diplomatically fraught — the Western Allies had already recognized the Soviet-backed Provisional Government of National Unity over the London-based Polish government-in-exile, a concession that effectively sealed Poland's postwar alignment. This coin marks the fiftieth anniversary of that membership.
Issued the same year Poland was deepening its bid for NATO accession, the timing was pointed.
