背面描述 The reverse is printed in red and dark green on a cream guilloche ground. A large stylised denomination numeral 20 with a Złoty currency symbol occupies the centre, flanked by two oval cartouches — the left one blank and framed by an ornamental wreath border, the right one enclosing an intaglio vignette of the crowned Polish White Eagle. The interlaced monogram BP (Bank Polski) appears in the upper corners, and a legal tender statement together with an anti-counterfeiting warning in Polish text is printed below the central numeral.

备注

Bank Polski was reconstituted in 1924 as part of the Grabski monetary reform — a deliberate stabilization effort that replaced the deeply inflated Polish marka with the new złoty at a rate of 1,800,000 to one. This note belongs to that founding issue, printed domestically in Warsaw at a moment when Poland was barely six years into independence and still building the institutional infrastructure of a sovereign monetary system.

Domestic printing rather than contracting abroad was itself a political statement, though the technical results were uneven across the series. The watermark security on these early Warsaw-printed issues is notably inconsistent in placement.
