Obverse description Central field features a finely detailed high-relief depiction of the Qu Yuan Temple (屈原祠), rendered in a traditional Chinese architectural style with multi-tiered rooflines, ornate gateways, and surrounding trees. The Chinese inscription 屈原祠 appears in the upper portion of the field. The issuer legend 中华人民共和国 (People's Republic of China) is inscribed along the lower border, with the date 1996 beneath it.
