| 正面描述 | Central device depicts the Temple of Heaven (Tiāntán) in Beijing, rendered in fine detail with its characteristic triple-tiered circular hall and surrounding balustrade wall, set against a frosted field. The Panda series, launched in 1982, was China's first bullion coin program aimed squarely at the international collector and investor market. Each year carries a new design — a deliberate policy decision made to drive annual demand and prevent secondary-market saturation of any single issue. The 2011 series falls within the period when the People's Bank was aggressively expanding Panda distribution into European and North American dealer networks.
The 1/20 oz size was introduced specifically to lower the entry price point for collectors priced out of the larger denominations.
