正面描述	Central vignette shows a pastoral scene with cattle wading through shallow water before the Liuhe Pagoda set against a river landscape, all printed in blue intaglio. The denomination 貳拾圓 appears in a large guilloche cartouche to the right of the vignette, flanked by decorative scrollwork borders. Two red seal stamps are positioned in the lower centre, with the issuer name and date inscription running along the bottom margin.

The issuer name 中國人民銀行 is inscribed across the top within a plain rectangular panel.
