| Obverse description | At centre, the denomination '20' is inscribed in large numerals within a wreath of stylised tulips and floral sprigs, flanked by the legends 'YENİ TÜRK LİRASI' arranged vertically on either side. Above the wreath, the Turkish crescent-and-star emblem is prominently displayed. The circular outer legend reads 'TÜRKİYE CUMHURİYETİ' around the upper periphery, with the date '2005' at the lower exergue. The design is executed in a combination of frosted relief and mirror-polished fields characteristic of proof coinage. |
