Reverse description The reverse presents a colourised portrait of a horse's head and neck in naturalistic grey tones, set within a raised circular border at the centre-right of the field. To the upper left, the Chinese seal-script character 午 (Wu, meaning 'Horse') appears within a rectangular cartouche, flanked by elegantly rendered weeping willow branches that sweep across the entire field in an East Asian artistic style. The date '2009' is inscribed in the lower exergue.
