Reverse description Central effigy of Wang Geon (Taejo of Goryeo), founder and first king of the Goryeo dynasty, depicted in a formal frontal portrait wearing traditional royal court regalia including an ornate crown with hanging pendants and ceremonial robes. To the upper left, the Hangul inscription reads '고려태조' and to the right '왕건'. The Latin legend 'FIRST KING OF KORYO DYNASTY WANGGON' arcs along the upper periphery, with the reign dates '918-943' to the left of the effigy.
