Reverse description Central field displays the denomination 二十圓 (Twenty Won) in bold Traditional Chinese characters arranged vertically, surmounted by a large stylised plum blossom — the imperial floral emblem of the Korean Empire — positioned at the top of the inner field. The denomination and blossom are encircled by a wreath composed of plum blossom branches on the right and a mixed foliate branch on the left, the two sides joined at the base by a decorative ribbon bow. The plain field provides an uncluttered background to the bold typographic design. The entire composition is enclosed within a toothed border running along the coin's reeded rim.
