Obverse description	Central field features the national coat of arms of Vanuatu, depicting a traditionally dressed Melanesian warrior standing upright in full figure, holding a spear in his right hand and a ceremonial club at his side, set against a boar's tusk and fern fronds arranged symmetrically. A scroll beneath the central device bears the national motto in Bislama: LONG GOD YUMI STANAP. The legend RIPABLIK BLONG VANUATU arcs around the periphery in large capital letters, with the denomination 20 VATU inscribed prominently in the upper field.

Reverse description	The reverse presents a richly detailed underwater scene rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field. A large sea turtle dominates the upper right portion of the design, swimming above a vibrant coral reef environment populated by a seahorse at centre left, a lionfish at lower centre, a school of small fish in the mid-field, and coral formations framing the composition. Two dolphins are visible in the distant upper field. The legend SAVE THE OCEAN arcs along the upper periphery, with the year 2022 inscribed vertically at the left. A stylised issuer's privy mark or mint logo appears at upper left, and the inscriptions 1 OZ AG .999 are engraved along the lower right border.
