| Obverse description | Central device depicts the national coat of arms of Vanuatu, featuring a traditionally attired Melanesian warrior standing upright and holding a spear in his right hand, set against a circular boar's tusk motif with crossed namele fern fronds at either side. A ribbon scroll below the warrior bears the national motto in Bislama: LONG GOD YUMI STANAP. The circumferential legend reads RIPABLIK BLONG VANUATU, divided by the date 2015 positioned at the top of the field. |
