正面描述 Central vignette of Damdiny Sükhbaatar (February 2, 1893 – February 20, 1923), founding member of the Mongolian People's Party and leader of the partisan army of the Outer Mongolian Revolution of 1921, rendered in intaglio portrait at right, accompanied by a Paiza (Gerege) — the imperial tablet of authority used by Mongol officials and envoys — and the National Coat of Arms. Guilloche underprint patterns frame the composition, with denomination numerals and Mongolian script inscriptions integrated throughout the design.

备注

Mongolia's 20 Tögrög occupies an odd position in the series — low enough in face value to circulate heavily in everyday transactions, yet durable enough in De La Rue's paper stock to survive it. The denomination has roots in the Soviet-era monetary structure inherited after 1990, when Mongolia's post-communist transition left the Tögrög badly devalued; by the time this series launched in 2002, 20 Tögrög bought almost nothing, which partly explains why these notes accumulated in drawers rather than wearing out in wallets.

A watermark is the sole security feature — modest even by regional standards of the period.
