背面描述 A central vignette presents a view of a power station in Ulaanbaatar, with electric power transmission towers, multi-storey residential buildings, and construction cranes in the middle ground set against a mountainous background. The composition reflects the industrial and urban development themes of the socialist era. Denomination numerals and bilingual inscriptions in Cyrillic and traditional Mongolian script are arranged within the surrounding guilloche panels.

备注

Goznak printed the bulk of Mongolia's Soviet-era banknote series, and this 1981 issue is a product of that long-standing printing arrangement between Ulaanbaatar and Moscow — one that reflected the broader economic dependency of the Mongolian People's Republic on the USSR throughout the Cold War decades. The tögrög itself had been pegged to the Soviet ruble since 1941, making these notes instruments of a monetary union in all but name.

R. Altankhuyag was among the first Mongolian nationals credited as designer on a domestic banknote series, a quiet but meaningful shift from earlier issues where design originated entirely in Moscow.
