| 背面描述 | The numeral '20' is prominently displayed in large raised digits at the center of the field, with the Cyrillic denomination legend СТОТИНКИ inscribed directly below. The mint year appears at the bottom of the field. Two stylized wheat ears flank the central design on either side, rising from the lower field, and a beaded inner circle borders the entire reverse design. |

Bulgaria's communist-era small denomination coinage was produced in enormous quantities throughout the 1970s and 1980s, largely by the Kremnica Mint in Czechoslovakia alongside domestic Bulgarian production. The long date range of this type reflects the political stability — or rather, the stagnation — of Todor Zhivkov's final decades in power, during which monetary policy changed little. Zhivkov was deposed in November 1989 after 35 years, and production of this type ceased the following year as Bulgaria moved toward a multiparty system.
