| Obverse description | The Peruvian national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a quartered shield with a vicuna in the upper left canton, a cinchona tree in the upper right canton, and a cornucopia in the base. The shield is surmounted by a civic wreath and flanked by laurel and palm branches tied with a ribbon at the base. The legend REPUBLICA PERUANA arcs along the upper periphery, while the mint name LIMA appears in the lower exergue.
