Opmerkingen

This is a modern Croatian fantasy or souvenir piece, not an official banknote — Croatia has issued no paper currency denominated in "šolda" at any point in its monetary history. The šolda (soldo) was a small-denomination coin used under Venetian and later Habsburg administration along the Dalmatian coast, long obsolete by the 20th century. Its invocation here is purely regional-nostalgic, evoking Split's deep Venetian past.

No central bank backing, no legal tender status. Collect accordingly.
