Reverse description The reverse is steel-plate engraved in the Perkins manner, organised around a large concentric oval guilloche underprint at centre enclosing a smaller oval scenic vignette of two figures in a landscape with architectural ruins. Four large circular guilloche rosettes are placed in the corners within elaborate foliate and acanthus scroll surrounds, and a small oval portrait medallion appears at the top centre above the main guilloche oval. The engraver's imprint "Engraved by Perkins Villeneuve & Co." is inscribed in the lower margin.
