The background is filled with an intricate geometric destar siga woven textile pattern rendered in fine relief, composed of intersecting diagonal lines and small squares. The left field displays a stylised array of horizontal lines and circular dots in varying sizes, evoking a decorative register. A plain inner border frames the entire composition.

附加信息	The current Malaysian 20 sen belongs to the third series of Bank Negara coinage, introduced after a 2011 redenomination exercise that eliminated the 1 and 5 sen coins from circulation. Nickel brass was chosen partly to reduce production costs relative to the older cupronickel pieces, and partly to improve vending machine compatibility across a retail sector that had grown substantially since the previous series.
