Reverse description Central device consisting of a circular shield charged with the cross of the Order of Malta, superimposed upon an eight-pointed Maltese star with four prominent pointed rays alternating with four groups of pellets, all rendered in fine relief. A large ornate crown surmounts the shield at the top of the field. The denomination numerals S and 20 appear at the base flanking the lower ray of the star. The circumferential Latin legend is divided around the periphery, reading continuously around the design.
