| Reverse description | Crowned and elaborately mantled heraldic shield bearing the manifold quartered arms of Savoy, Piedmont, Jerusalem, Cyprus, and other dynastic territories, with the plain cross of Savoy on an inescutcheon at center. The shield is supported on either side by rampant lions. The date 1671 is divided and placed in the exergue beneath the composition. The Latin legend encircling the design reads PRIN PEDE REX CYPRI, abbreviating the duke's additional titles as Prince of Piedmont and King of Cyprus. |
