| Reverse description | The reverse carries a central intaglio vignette of two traditional stilt fishermen wading in coastal waters, a scene characteristic of Sri Lanka's southern shoreline, set within a dark rectangular border with fine geometric frame. Below the fishermen vignette, a large conch shell and coral are rendered in detailed line engraving. The bank name appears in all three scripts at upper centre, with the denomination numeral '20' in a guilloche roundel at upper left and repeated numerically at lower right.
