| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field bears the arms of Transnistria — a shield displaying a hammer and sickle beneath a red star, flanked by ears of wheat tied with a ribbon, all rendered in high relief against a polished background. The circular legend ПРИДНЕСТРОВСКИЙ РЕСПУБЛИКАНСКИЙ БАНК arcs around the upper periphery. The date 2024 is prominently placed in the lower field, flanked by two raised dots, with the denomination 20 РУБЛЕЙ inscribed below. The fineness and weight notations Ag 925 and 31.1 appear in the mid-lower field. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Transnistria — a narrow strip of territory between the Dniester River and the Ukrainian border — has operated as a de facto independent state since a brief armed conflict with Moldova in 1992, though no United Nations member recognizes its sovereignty. Its Republican Bank issues collector coinage partly as a revenue mechanism and partly as a soft assertion of statehood. The Voskhod-1 mission of October 1964 carried three cosmonauts without spacesuits — a calculated risk by Korolev's team, since the Voskhod capsule had no room for them.
