Obverse description Central field features a high-relief depiction of two children — a girl and a boy — seated side by side atop a crescent moon and reading a book together, rendered in an antique finish. The background is strewn with scattered stars, evoking a dreamlike, fairytale atmosphere. The State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus appears at the top of the field. The circular legend reads 'РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ' divided across the upper left and upper right, with the denomination 'ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ' arcing along the lower portion and the date '2007' in the exergue below the central motif.

Reverse description The reverse presents an elaborate multi-layered scene inspired by Lewis Carroll's 'Through the Looking-Glass', dominated by a large stylized face of Alice occupying the left portion of the field, her oversized eye gazing into the composition. The central field depicts a chessboard landscape with chess pieces — including a knight on horseback and various pawns — arranged across the board, with additional fantastical characters and floral elements framing the scene. An inlaid synthetic crystal element is set into the upper central area of the field, representing a pearl or magical orb. The reverse legend 'АЛІСА Ў ЗАЛЮСТРОЎІ' arcs along the right side of the coin in mirror-reversed Cyrillic lettering, consistent with the looking-glass theme. The overall design employs deeply sculptured antique-finish relief typical of Belarusian commemorative coinage of this series.
