附加信息

Part of Belarus's long-running series of coins incorporating synthetic stones, this issue draws on the 1946 Soviet fairy tale film The Stone Flower, itself adapted from Pavel Bazhov's Ural folktales collected in The Malachite Box. Bazhov spent decades mining the oral traditions of Ural metalworkers before publishing the cycle in 1939, and the stone-cutting imagery runs through the source material with genuine regional specificity — the Ural lapidary trade was among the most technically sophisticated in the empire.

The oxidized finish was applied deliberately to contrast with the inset crystal, a production choice the Minsk mint refined across multiple releases in this series.
