| 正面描述 | At center, against a rendered starry sky field, two children — a boy and a girl — are depicted holding an open book; the scene evokes a literary narrative context. The State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus appears in relief at the bottom of the field. The date of issue is inscribed beneath the central motif. A peripheral legend reads 'РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ' (Republic of Belarus) along the upper rim and 'ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ' (Twenty Roubles) along the lower rim, both in Cyrillic characters. |

| 背面描述 | The reverse presents a stylized, abstracted portrait of the Little Prince rendered through symbolic facial elements: a star-shaped mouth, a slit nose, an arched eyebrow, and a central eye inlaid with a synthetic transparent crystal, all set against a starry sky background. The design employs an intentionally asymmetrical, impressionistic composition to evoke the fantastical character from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's celebrated novella. The legend 'МАЛЕНЬКІ ПРЫНЦ' (The Little Prince) appears in Cyrillic script within the field. |

Belarus issued this piece as part of a broader commemorative program tied to the 2005 centenary of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's birth. Saint-Exupéry disappeared in July 1944 during a reconnaissance flight over the Mediterranean — his Lockheed F-5B was not confirmed found until 2004, when wreckage was identified off the coast of Marseille, making the centenary commemorations unusually loaded with recent closure.
The synthetic crystal inclusion was a production technique the National Bank of Belarus deployed across several literary-themed issues in this period, sourcing the inserts domestically.
