The Sinsha — Belarusian for "bluethroat" — belongs to the National Bank's long-running wildlife reserve series, which has documented protected species of the Belarusian fauna since the early 2000s. The bluethroat (Luscinia svecica) is protected under Belarusian law and listed in the national Red Book of endangered and vulnerable species, a volume that has driven much of the thematic selection for this program.
