| Beschrijving keerzijde | The darkened reverse field is densely decorated with a multitude of cultural and religious symbols representing the many ethnic nationalities of Belarus, including Chinese characters, Arabic calligraphy, a menorah, a Celtic knot, an elephant, Slavic embroidery patterns, and other folk motifs, rendered in a combination of oxidized silver, gilt, and polychrome finishes. The symbols are arranged across the field in an asymmetric yet balanced composition evoking the diversity of the represented peoples. A continuous circular legend encircles the entire design along the rim, listing the names of the ethnic groups in Belarusian: ЧУВАШЫ АРАБЫ КАЗАХІ КАРЭЙЦЫ КІТАЙЦЫ ТАДЖЫКІ ТУРКМЕНЫ УЗБЕКІ ЦЫГАНЕ ЯЎРЭІ ТАТАРЫ АРМЯНЕ АЗЕРБАЙДЖАНЦЫ БЕЛАРУСЫ ГРУЗІНЫ РУСКІЯ УКРАІНЦЫ ПАЛЯКІ. The overall design celebrates cultural plurality and the Republican Festival of National Cultures. |

Belarus has held the Republican Festival of National Cultures in Grodno since 1992, bringing together the country's recognized ethnic communities — Poles, Russians, Ukrainians, Jews, Tatars, and others — in a state-sponsored celebration that has survived every political convulsion of the post-Soviet period. Grodno's particular ethnic layering, sitting at the intersection of historically Lithuanian, Polish, and Belarusian territory, makes it the natural host.
The National Bank of Belarus has issued commemorative silver consistently enough that collector fatigue is a genuine market factor, but cultural-theme pieces tied to specific recurring events tend to hold better than generic architectural issues.
