| Reversbeschreibung | Central field depicts a full-length figure of a woman dressed in the traditional folk costume of the Kobrin region of Belarus, rendered in selective color. The costume comprises a white linen blouse and skirt richly adorned with geometric woven ornamentation in red and black, a woven apron, and a white cloth head covering. Behind the figure, a broad horizontal band of colorized traditional textile pattern with repeating red and black geometric motifs fills the middle ground, lending strong ethnographic character to the design. The Cyrillic legend НАРОДНЫ КАСЦЮМ is inscribed along the left arc of the periphery and КОБРЫНСКІ СТРОЙ along the right arc, separated by raised beaded border elements. The entire composition is struck in proof finish with applied polychrome color. |

Kobrin is a small city in Brest Oblast where, in July 1812, Russian forces under Tormasov achieved one of the earliest Russian victories against Napoleon's invasion — a skirmish that destroyed a Saxon brigade and briefly lifted morale before the catastrophic fall of Moscow. Belarus has systematically commemorated its military geography through silver issues, and Kobrin's 1812 action represents one of the more historically defensible choices in that program.
The .925 silver planchet at this diameter was the National Bank's standard vehicle for regional history commemoratives throughout the 2010s and into the early 2020s.
