| Описание реверса | The reverse presents a central icon image of the Most Holy Theotokos of Iveron rendered in fine relief, with the haloes of the Saviour, the Theotokos, and the surrounding figures rendered in gold-plating. Flanking the central icon on either side, against a stylized grapevine background, are relief depictions of the twelve apostles and evangelists: Peter, John, Mark, Andrew, James, Thomas, Paul, Matthew, Luke, Simon, Bartholomew, and Philip. Angelic figures and inscriptions in the Greek language appear beneath the central Theotokos image. The star upon the Theotokos's vestments is likewise gold-plated, highlighting the sacred iconographic detail. At the bottom of the field, the inscription ІВЕРСКАЯ (Of Iveron) identifies the devotional subject. |

The Iveron Icon holds a specific place in Orthodox devotion tied to Mount Athos, where the original — known as the Portaitissa, or "Keeper of the Gate" — has been housed at the Iviron Monastery since at least the 10th century. A copy commissioned by Patriarch Nikon arrived in Moscow in 1648 and became one of the most venerated objects in Russian religious life. Belarus's repeated use of Orthodox iconographic subjects on its commemorative silver program throughout the 2000s and 2010s reflects the post-Soviet rehabilitation of the Russian Orthodox Church as a cultural institution across the former republics.
