Reverse description The reverse features a central relief portrait of Davyd of Garadzen, the celebrated Belarusian military commander and defender of Grodno. To the left of the portrait, an impression of a pendant seal used for official charters bears the image of Prince Dovmont Nalshansky (who ruled under the Christian name Timofey and is considered by some historians to be the father of Davyd of Garadzen). The circumferential Cyrillic legend ДАВЫД ГАРАДЗЕНСКІ (Davyd of Garadzen) runs around the design, accompanied by the dates of his service 1314–1326.
