Aanvullende informatie

Belarus issued a long-running commemorative series based on Alexandre Dumas's The Three Musketeers, of which this D'Artagnan piece is one installment. The synthetic red zircon is set to represent — functionally, not decoratively — a specific plot element, a design choice that became a recurring structural device across the Belarusian literary coin program of the 2000s. Pad printing on silver coins of this period was still technically experimental for many mints; the National Bank of Belarus was unusually early in adopting it for colored detail work on commemorative issues.
