| 背面描述 | The central field depicts a detailed relief effigy of a herring gull (Larus argentatus) set against a mirror-like lake surface rendered in fine detail, evoking the natural landscape of the Braslaw Lakes region. The upper rim legend reads НАЦЫЯНАЛЬНЫ ПАРК БРАСЛАЎСКІЯ АЗЁРЫ (Braslaw Lakes National Park) in Cyrillic, encircling the design, while the lower rim bears the species designation ЧАЙКА КЛЫГУН (Herring Gull). The overall composition conveys a naturalistic style consistent with Belarusian commemorative coin design of this period. |

Braslaw Lakes, in the far north of Belarus near the Lithuanian and Latvian borders, holds the country's highest concentration of glacial lakes — over 300 formed during the last ice age. The National Park was established in 1995, and this coin belongs to Belarus's early-2000s run of wildlife-themed silver issues that coincided with the country's efforts to align conservation policy with European environmental frameworks following post-Soviet institutional restructuring.
The Herring Gull breeds at Braslaw in meaningful numbers, one of the few inland breeding populations in the region.
