Aanvullende informatie

Belarus has issued an extensive wildlife series in silver since the early 2000s, and the European bison — locally called the zubr — carries particular national weight, as the Białowieża Forest straddling the Belarusian-Polish border hosts one of the last wild herds descended from animals reintroduced after the species went extinct in the wild in 1927. The embedded synthetic crystals are a production feature of the Belarusian mint's "crystal" subseries, where Swarovski-style elements are set directly into the die-struck field during finishing.

KM#422 is one of several zubr-themed issues across different years; collector demand tracks closely with the broader Eastern European wildlife bullion market rather than any particular numismatic premium.
