附加信息

The Akhal-Teke is one of the oldest surviving horse breeds, originating in the Karakum Desert of present-day Turkmenistan, where the breed was developed by the Tekke Turkmen tribe over at least three millennia. Prized historically for endurance over extreme distances and heat, these horses were the foundation stock for several later European breeds including the Thoroughbred. Belarus issued a broader animal-themed silver program throughout the 2000s and early 2010s, and this piece falls within that run.

Mintage for Belarusian commemorative silvers of this type was typically kept under 5,000 pieces, though exact figures for KM#383 are not confirmed in major references.
