| Obverse description | Right-facing intaglio portrait of Reza Shah Pahlavi in military uniform occupies the right portion of the note, with a central vignette of the Lion and Sun emblem enclosed within an ornate frame. A panoramic view of Persepolis ruins appears in the lower centre, flanked by column guilloche borders on each side. The bank name in Persian script is printed across the upper centre, with the denomination numeral '20' repeated in the upper corners and serial numbers in both Persian and Western numerals appearing twice at top and bottom. |
