Obverse description A central vignette of a tall date palm, its fronds arching overhead, anchors the composition between two ornate scroll cartouches bearing the bilingual bank title in French and Spanish; flanking Art Nouveau vignettes at lower left and right depict Moroccan landscapes with figures in richly detailed intaglio work. Denomination numerals occupy all four corners within geometric frames, while bilingual payment obligations in French and Spanish are inscribed across the lower portion, with the issue date and series reference at centre. The designer and engraver credits appear in the lower margin.
